![]() Or it has a low droprate chance, might be less than a percent of a chance toĭrop from bosses in the "higher" spectre of the instances, I would say fromĮnd bosses in instances where they are Lv.70+, but this rate of dropping is very The Heroic versions of any instance (Meaning Lv.70). It seems that they have a 100% drop chance on defeating the last boss in ![]() Lv.69+ bosses in the "higher" spectre of the instances, typically seen as Lv.70Īs far as I am aware, without saying this is printed in stone and how it works You can easily farm 2-3 primals a day doing heroics with guildies.Ĭomment by AllakhazamOk so if anyone still wonder about where the Primal Nethers drop, they are from They can still gather all the other mats pretty much, then help you do a 2 hour heroic run and you got an epic. If guildies or friends need armor/weapons made they should help you run the instances and then let you take the nether to make them items at the end. Canedriver hit the nail on the head with his post.Īnd to the guy complaining you can't make armor or weapons for your guild cause you need to farm primal nether? Ya, you are a moron. On top of getting up skills you also have should have to compete with others for mats? Others who will just under cut you on the mats and sell them super cheap on the AH? I think not. It's not easy leveling up tradeskills and the fact that you make little to no money selling your goods after farming the mats yourself just sucks. The whole point of taking up a tradeskill is to make armor for yourself, and others at a COST (unless guildies or friends). But if you want em without paying you should have trained that profession. It goes both ways too, you should need items only you can use.Īnd yes I realize there are items that you can have made which help and use primal nether. Sure you helped get it but it's worthless to you where as it isn't to the person with the tradeskill. If one drops everyone who can't use should pass while the person who is that profession needs. but they arn't rolling on your BOP armor or weapons only you can use, now are they? Why should you roll on items they use in their trade? It's just like a recipe, pattern, whatever. Yes I know you might of helped run that instance with the bs/lw/tailor/etc. In heroics you are garunteed at least 1 primal off the end boss.Īs for these being BOP? GREAT! That means you are only having the people who can actually USE these rolling on them, not chumps who are just going to go sell them. The best way to get primal nether is definetly doing heroic instances if you can though. That's still only about 1 nether in 10 runs but seems much more likely from what I have seen, and also considering how many items that use primal nether are being made. ![]() I believe a 10% drop rate is a better figure. Now either I am INSANE lucky or, more likely, the drop rate isn't quite that low. I have seen around 6 drop off the final bosses and have not done anywhere near 100 instances, let alone 600. The badge system makes some of them a viable way to fill in gear gaps.Ĭomment by AllakhazamThese things seem to drop a lot more than 1% of the time in non-heroic instances from my experience. The epics attainable via heroic runs are typically one step below Karazhan epics. A single mistake means a fast wipe, almost every time. On trash, each pull must have flawless healing, crowd-control, and tanking. Bosses also hit harder (a few hit much harder), have more health, and have more abilities. They will kill anyone but a well-armored tank in 2-4 hits. ![]() What's the catch? The catch is that trash monster attacks and spells hit *much* harder than before. Bosses also award considerably more reputation, although I don't have a formula handy for that. All monsters award reputation up to exalted, even if they did not do so in normal mode. Trash monsters award 25% more reputation than normal mode. The end boss is guaranteed to drop an epic item, in addition to a badge and the two superior items. For dungeons that are not level 70 in normal mode, the bosses use a different loot table.Įach boss has a chance to drop an epic gem. For dungeons that are level 70 runs in normal mode, this loot is the same. ![]() The trinkets, in particular, are very good.Įach boss drops level 68-70 superior (blue) items. They are also used for the best fire resist boots, gloves, chest pieces, and leggings in the game. Currently, it shows 7252 end boss kills for Mechanar, but only 322 for Old Hillsbrad Foothills.įor those who don't know, the Primal Nether is not the only reason to run a Heroic dungeon.Įach boss drops a Badge of Justice, which can be used to purchase general-purpose epic necklaces, rings, off-hands, shields, headpieces, cloaks, and trinkets. Comment by KathuckaThe drop table for this item has the interesting side effect of showing which instances are completed most often in Heroic mode. ![]()
